Who we are
At Wicked Clear Speech Therapy, we believe communication is more than just talking — it’s about building connection, confidence, and community. Whether we’re supporting a child learning their first words on a speech-generating device, helping an adult navigate life after a stroke, or guiding someone toward a voice that feels authentic, we meet every client with warmth, respect, and evidence-based care.
Founded in Boston, Wicked Clear is proud to be rooted in a city known for its character, resilience, and, of course, its wicked clear voices. We offer both in-person and teletherapy services to make care flexible and accessible for families and individuals throughout the region.
Our specialties include:
AAC (Augmentative & Alternative Communication) for children who are nonverbal or minimally verbal.
Stuttering therapy for children and adults.
Gender-affirming voice work for transgender and gender-diverse individuals.
Cognitive-communication support for those living with dementia, brain injury, or other challenges.
Speech and language therapy for delays, disorders, and differences in children and adults.
What makes us different? We center our work on collaboration — with families, caregivers, teachers, doctors, and anyone else in your circle of support. Therapy doesn’t stop at the clinic door; it becomes part of your everyday life.
Jarrett Lebeau M.S. CCC-SLP
Before becoming a speech-language pathologist, I worked as a theater teacher, where I saw firsthand how powerful voice, expression, and storytelling can be. Many of my students had special needs, and through theater, I had the privilege of helping them find their voices, their confidence, and their place in our community. That experience lit a spark — I realized that communication isn’t just about words, it’s about connection and belonging.
That realization led me back to school, where I earned my Master’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Emerson College right here in Boston. I founded Wicked Clear Speech Therapy to combine my creativity, my clinical expertise, and my passion for helping others into one practice. My goal was simple: to create a welcoming, inclusive space where individuals and families could access therapy that feels personal, affirming, and effective.
Boston is where I trained, where I live, and where I’ve built this practice — and I’m proud to serve the people and communities that make this city so unique.
